Gratitude...
It is a pensive rainy day here...and I am feeling like Courtenay's illustration of the little girl with the umbrella in our book-- with heart-shaped teardrops on my cheeks, as I hear about Sun Kisses, Moon Hugs "doing its work" in the world! Our book is being given to children who have lost their mother to cancer...it is comforting a mother and child in the midst of a divorce... it is being read as a bedtime story and in classrooms...a little girl at Charlie's school told me that it is "her favorite book ever"!
My heart overflows every time I hear one of these stories...and I just feel so blessed that the universe opened the path for Courtenay and me to bring this book to life! Love to you all.
