What a fun, well-organized event! Thank you, LA Parks and Recs for inviting us.

Come and have fun at the Shadow Ranch Eggstravaganza! March 30th, 10am-2pm

We are so excited to be a part of this huge (FREE) LA Parks event. Bring the kids because there will be Easter egg hunts, a petting zoo, a bounce house, arts and crafts and games. Susan and I will be reading the book, as well as, selling and signing copies at our booth. Just look for the colorful banners featuring the book cover!

We'll also be unveiling the new Big Book version of Sun Kisses, Moon Hugs...a book two times the size of the original that we put together just for these kinds of events. We want the kids in the back of the crowd to see the illustrations while we read and at 24" x 36" this should do the trick!

There's more information here: Shadow Ranch Eggstravaganza

Hope to see you there!

Enjoying a giant dose of Hugs and Kisses!

A Wonderful Celebration at Porter Ranch Community School!

A very big thank you to Mary Melvin, the amazing principal of this new K-8 school, for inviting us to read and sign books at this Dr. Seuss Day celebration. There were pancakes and tons of fun book-inspired activities for the students. We had so much fun meeting all the kids - what a lovely campus with so much school spirit!

We also got to try out our new Power Point presentation, which we put together to show budding authors and illustrators just how an idea, a poem and some sketches become a book! It's neat to see how all those early scribbles blossomed into words and illustrations.

Thank you, Porter Ranch Community School!

Reading to the kids on a very warm March morning!
